Keith Brachold brought home the go-ahead run to give the Rockland Boulders (23-25) the lead in the ninth inning, as the Rockland Boulders hung on to beat the Quebec Capitales (33-16) 6-4 on Monday.
With the score tied at four in the ninth inning, Brachold came to the plate and homered, plating Qualon Millender.Brachold racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Rockland Boulders. He singled in the sixth and eighth innings and homered in the ninth inning.
Adrian Martin improved to 4-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Rockland Boulders. Martin struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.
TJ Stanton was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
