The New Jersey Jackals (24-18) jumped out to an early lead on the Newark Bears (15-29) and captured a 10-2 victory on Monday at Bears_Eagles Riverfront Stadium.

Five runs in the first three innings allowed the New Jersey Jackals to put the game away early.

Francisco Caraballo put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the New Jersey Jackals. He singled in the second inning, homered in the third inning, and doubled in the fifth innings.

Isaac Pavlik got the win for the New Jersey Jackals thanks to six strikeouts. Pavlik allowed one earned run on six hits and one walk over seven innings.

The Newark Bears were led by Daryle Ward's hitting. Ward went 3-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Brian Parker couldn't get it done on the hill for the Newark Bears, taking a loss. He allowed nine runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out two.

The New Jersey Jackals easily handled the Newark Bears pitching as seven hitters combined for 19 hits, seven RBIs and 10 runs scored.
