The New Jersey Jackals (23-17) didn't have a chance on Saturday, as the Newark Bears (14-28) won in blowout fashion, 8-1 at Bears_Eagles Riverfront Stadium.

A two-run home run by Eric McGee helped the Newark Bears score two runs in the sixth. The Newark Bears had three hits in the inning.

McGee racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Newark Bears.

Mike Ness picked up the win for the Newark Bears. Ness allowed one earned run, seven hits and no walks while striking out one over eight innings of work.

Jon Kibler couldn't get it done on the bump for the New Jersey Jackals, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
