Rene Leveret drove in the go-ahead run to give the Quebec (17-9) the lead in the seventh inning, as the Quebec hung on to beat the Worcester (9-17) 9-6 on Thursday.

Leveret racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Quebec. He homered in the seventh innings and singled in the ninth inning.

Guillaume Duguay brought the heat against the Worcester during his outing. Duguay held the Worcester hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Johnny Welch racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Worcester. He homered in the fifth inning.

Justin Wiley got the win for the Quebec. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked four and surrendered five hits.

Kevin Cooper couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Worcester, taking a loss. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
