The Quebec (8-4) continued to pile up the runs on Friday, scoring five runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 18-5 win over the Rockland (4-10) at Provident Bank Park.
The Quebec scored seven runs in the sixth on an RBI double by Patrick DAoust, an RBI single by Josue Peley, an RBI triple by Normand Gosselin, and a home run by Jonathan Malo.
Malo racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Quebec.
Chad Jones had an impressive outing against the Rockland's lineup. Jones held the Rockland hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two.
Ryan Scoma racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Rockland. He singled in the second, third, and eighth innings and doubled in the ninth inning.
John Mariotti improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Quebec. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered six hits.
Nicolas Blanco (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
