The St Paul didn't stand a chance on Thursday, as the Quebec (7-4) captured a blowout 9-2 win at Le Stade Municipal.

The Quebec scored four runs in the fourth on an RBI double by Josue Peley, a sacrifice fly by Steve Brown, an error, and an RBI single by Sebastien Boucher.

Jonathan Malo racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Quebec.

Karl Gelinas racked up six strikeouts in the the Quebec win. Gelinas allowed no earned runs on eight hits and one walk over seven innings.

Chris Odegaard was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
