Four first-inning runs helped the Lincoln Saltdogs (31-45) to a 7-4 win over the Wichita Wingnuts (44-32) at Haymarket Park on Tuesday.
Jimmy Rohan paced the Lincoln Saltdogs at the plate. Rohan went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the first inning and singled in the second and seventh innings.
Brandon Sinnery improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lincoln Saltdogs. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered nine hits.
Chris Cummins ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked none and struck out three.
