The Lincoln Saltdogs (29-45) and the Laredo Lemurs (35-38) both had scoring chances on Thursday, but it was the Lincoln Saltdogs that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 8-6 win at Haymarket Park.

The Lincoln Saltdogs held off the Laredo Lemurs, as the Laredo Lemurs were unable to overcome a five-run second inning deficit.

The Laredo Lemurs scored on a two-run home run by Brian Peterson in the fourth inning, an RBI single by Uriak Marquez in the fifth inning, an RBI single by Peterson and an error in the eighth inning, and an RBI single by Palmer Karr Jr. in the ninth inning. Still, the Laredo Lemurs couldn't draw even.

Jimmy Rohan racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Lincoln Saltdogs. He doubled in the first innings and singled in the second, fourth, and eighth innings.

Brandon Sinnery recorded his second win of the year for the Lincoln Saltdogs. He allowed three runs over six innings. Sinnery struck out five, walked one and gave up eight hits.

Mark Haynes was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked two and struck out nine.
