The Wichita Wingnuts (41-29) beat the Amarillo Sox (35-36) 10-5 on Tuesday at Amarillo National Bank Sox Stad behind Mike Conroy, who had two extra base hits.

He doubled in the first inning, singled in the fourth and fifth innings, and tripled in the eighth inning.

Josh Lowey got the win for the Wichita Wingnuts thanks to eight strikeouts. Lowey allowed no earned runs on three hits and two walks over seven innings.

Justin Garcia (7-2) took the loss for the Amarillo Sox. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked one and struck out three.

Jared McDonald, Conroy and David Peralta helped lead the Wichita Wingnuts. They combined for 11 hits and six RBIs.
