The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks make the most of 6 hits in 4-3 victory over the Sioux Falls Pheasants

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (40-23) and the Sioux Falls Pheasants (29-34) both had scoring chances on Wednesday, but it was the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-3 win at Newman Outdoor Field.

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks held off the Sioux Falls Pheasants, as the Sioux Falls Pheasants were unable to overcome a three-run fourth inning deficit.

The Sioux Falls Pheasants scored on an RBI single by Cesar Nicolas in the sixth inning and an RBI single by Al Quintana in the seventh inning. Unfortunately, the Sioux Falls Pheasants weren't able to take the lead back.

Buddy Sosnoskie racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. He homered in the first inning.

Tyler Herron recorded his sixth win of the year for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. He allowed three runs over six innings. Herron struck out eight, walked none and gave up eight hits.

Rod Scurry was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
