A walk-off single from Jessie Mier brought home the winning run for the Wichita Wingnuts (37-27) in a 7-6 victory over the Amarillo Sox (34-31) at Lawrence Dumont Stadium on Wednesday.

Mier racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Wichita Wingnuts. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Mark Wagner got on base four times in the game for the Wichita Wingnuts. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the third innings and singled in the second and ninth innings.
