Fronk's walk-off single send the El Paso Diablos home winners, 18-17

A walk-off single from Reid Fronk brought home the winning run for the El Paso Diablos (25-36) in an 18-17 victory over the Lincoln Saltdogs in 10 innings at Cohen Stadium on Sunday.

The Lincoln Saltdogs (24-40) couldn't slow down Fronk, who paced the El Paso Diablos with five hits. He tripled in the ninth inning and singled in the first, fourth, fifth, and tenth innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 35 total runs and 41 hits during the game. There were 11 pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

David Casillas got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Casillas struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

PJ Zocchi (1-2) took the loss for the Lincoln Saltdogs. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.

The El Paso Diablos easily handled the Lincoln Saltdogs pitching as six hitters combined for 19 hits, 12 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
