The Grand Prairie AirHogs (37-21) came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 5-2 ballgame against the St Paul Saints (28-28) on Wednesday at Midway Stadium.

An RBI single by Joe Spiers gave the St Paul Saints the lead in the fourth inning.

Ole Sheldon got on base two times in the game for the St Paul Saints. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fifth inning.

Yasutsugu Nishimoto went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. He singled in the second and fifth innings.

Luke Anderson got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out four, walked four and surrendered four hits.
