An excellent effort by Chuck Lofgren led the Amarillo Sox (30-25) to a 3-0 win over the Laredo Lemurs (23-30) on Saturday at Uni-Trade Stadium.

The Amarillo Sox's Lofgren kept the Laredo Lemurs off the scoreboard for all nine innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on five hits while ringing up three.

Garrett Rau racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Amarillo Sox. He singled in the second inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Tony Butler couldn't get it done on the hill for the Laredo Lemurs, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
