The Lincoln Saltdogs were led by a flawless day at the dish by David Espinosa, who went 3-3 against the Kansas City T-Bones' pitching. He singled in the first, third, and eighth innings.

A bright spot for the Kansas City T-Bones in the defeat was Lucas Irvine, who allowed only two runs while striking out eight.
