The El Paso Diablos (7-27) and the Laredo Lemurs (16-19) passed the lead back and forth five times on Sunday at Cohen Stadium, but in the end the El Paso Diablos pulled out a 6-3 win over the Laredo Lemurs.
Nelson Teilon got on base three times in the game for the El Paso Diablos. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first and third innings.
The Laredo Lemurs couldn't get anything going as long as Kyle Cremers was pitching. Cremers held the Laredo Lemurs hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
It was a good day at the plate for the Laredo Lemurs' Javier Brito. Brito went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third inning.
