After five lead changes in Friday's game at Midway Stadium, the Sioux Falls Pheasants (18-15) finally pulled out a 4-3 win over the St Paul Saints (16-16).
Cory Morales was hot from the plate for the Sioux Falls Pheasants. Morales went 2-6, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the thirteenth inning.
Rod Scurry handled the St Paul Saints' lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Scurry allowed one earned run on five hits and two walks over seven innings.
Jack Van Leur improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Sioux Falls Pheasants. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.
Chris Odegaard (1-4) took the loss for the St Paul Saints. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
