CJ Ziegler went 2-3 and hit a home run, sparking the Wichita (19-7) to an 11-7 victory over the Sioux City (12-14) on Wednesday at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.

It was a good day at the plate for the Sioux City's Yusuke Inoguchi. Inoguchi went 3-5 and scored one run. He doubled in the second innings and singled in the first and sixth innings.

Jose D. Perez recorded his second win for the Wichita even though he allowed six runs over 5 2/3 innings. D. Perez struck out three, walked two and gave up 10 hits.

Max Whieldon ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked five and struck out three.
