Zach Penprase went 2-3 as the Fargo-Moorhead (7-9) took home an 8-4 victory over the Sioux City (6-10) at Lewis _ Clark Park on Sunday.

Aaron Shafer struck out seven hitters en route to the the Fargo-Moorhead win. Shafer allowed no earned runs, six hits and no walks over seven innings.

Ryan Priddy had two extra-base hits for the Sioux City. He doubled in the second inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Richard Salazar ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
