A great effort by Tim Alberts spurred the Amarillo (7-7) to a 10-7 win over the Kansas City (7-7) on Friday at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.
Alberts racked up six RBIs on five hits for the Amarillo. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third and fifth innings.

Matt Mitchell ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out one.
