The Quebec pounded the St Paul (7-6) on Thursday 9-2 at Le Stade Municipal.

The Quebec scored four runs in the fourth on an RBI double by Josue Peley, a sacrifice fly by Steve Brown, an error, and an RBI single by Sebastien Boucher.

Jonathan Malo racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Quebec.

Karl Gelinas struck out six, paving the way for a the Quebec win. Gelinas allowed no earned runs on eight hits and one walk over seven innings.

Chris Odegaard ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
