Devin Anderson kept the Grand Prairie (5-3) off the board during his six innings of work and the Kansas City (3-5) beat the Grand Prairie , 8-0.

Anderson struck out five and allowed no walks and four hits.

The offense exploded for the the Kansas City in the eighth. The Grand Prairie had no answer as the Kansas City scored five runs.

Sean Henry racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Kansas City . He doubled in the first inning and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.

Lance Janke ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out seven, and allowed three runs.
