An ace performance by Steve Fox spurred the :New Jersey to a 10-0 win over the Lincoln on Friday at Haymarket Park.

Fox struck out 10 hitters en route to the the :New Jersey win. The :New Jersey 's pitcher gave up just two hits over seven shutout innings.

Five runs in the opening three innings allowed the :New Jersey to easily put away the Lincoln (4-5). An error in the second inning fueled the :New Jersey 's offense early.

Nick Giarraputo had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the third and seventh innings and singled in the fourth and ninth innings.

Chandler Barnard (0-1) took the loss for the Lincoln . He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked two and struck out three.

The :New Jersey built upon their lead with four runs in the third. The inning looked promising, as Francisco Caraballo homered, scoring Angel Berroa and Bryan Sabatella to kick things off. That was followed up by an error that scored Giarraputo.
