The Auburn Wildcats get on top of the San Francisco Seagulls early but can't hang on in 5-2 loss

The Auburn Wildcats (24-14) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 5-2 to the San Francisco Seagulls (23-19) on Saturday.

While the Auburn Wildcats led until the eighth inning, the San Francisco Seagulls worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Austin March.

The San Francisco Seagulls' Ramsy Azar was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Greg Hansen picked up the win for the San Francisco Seagulls. Hansen allowed two earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out five over nine innings of work.

Michael Proiette was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
