Both the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs (13-8) and the Orlando Freedom (4-15) put runners aboard on Friday, but it was the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 10-5 win at Alfond Stadium.

It was a good day at the plate for the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs' Sean Trent. Trent went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first, fourth, and sixth innings.

Anthony Figliolia picked up the win for the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs. Figliolia allowed one earned run, seven hits and no walks while striking out three over seven innings of work.

Jeffrey Campbell had a hot bat for the Orlando Freedom. Campbell went 1-2, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.

Brian Johnson (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
