Peper allows no runs to lead the San Francisco Seagulls past the Top Speed Baseball 9-2

Ethan Peper held the Top Speed Baseball (9-7) scoreless for seven innings to boost the San Francisco Seagulls (10-4) to a 9-2 victory.

Peper allowed three hits, four walks and struck out four.

The San Francisco Seagulls blew out the Top Speed Baseball thanks to 14 hits, including zero extra base hits. The San Francisco Seagulls scored four runs in the seventh on an RBI double by Dominic Ferrando, an RBI double by Tyler Helms, an RBI single by Cody Silveria, and an RBI triple by Matt Chaidez.

Roger Fonseca had two extra-base hits for the San Francisco Seagulls. He tripled in the first inning, doubled in the seventh inning, and singled in the eighth inning.

Peter James ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.

Chaidez, Helms, Fonseca and Ferrando helped lead the San Francisco Seagulls. They combined for nine hits and six RBIs.
