Adam Bray held the Alameda Merchants (3-3) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Top Speed Baseball (6-3) to a 12-3 victory.
Bray struck out four and allowed no walks and four hits.
Five runs in the opening three innings allowed the Top Speed Baseball to easily put away the Alameda Merchants. An RBI single by Steven Knudson and a three-run triple by Michael Crandell during the first inning and a fielder's choice in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Top Speed Baseball.
The Top Speed Baseball's Matt Pollock was perfect at the dish, going 5-5. He tripled in the first inning, doubled in the sixth inning, and singled in the third, seventh, and eighth innings.
Connor Hulse couldn't get it done on the mound for the Alameda Merchants, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
