Megan Wiggins collected three hits as the Chicago Bandits (20-17) took home a 7-3 victory over the Akron Racers (14-23) at Firestone Stadium on Thursday.

She singled in the first and second innings and homered in the sixth inning.

Monica Abbott got the win for the Chicago Bandits thanks to nine strikeouts. Abbott allowed one earned run on three hits and one walk over 6 2/3 innings.

Hilary Bach ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with her first loss of the year. She allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out one.
