The Akron Racers (14-22) didn't have a chance on Thursday, as the USSSA Pride (25-12) won in blowout fashion, 9-1 at ESPN Wide World.

A three-run double by Ashley Charters delivered the runs in the third. The USSSA Pride had two hits in the inning.

Charters racked up five RBIs on two hits for the USSSA Pride.

Cat Osterman struck out 12, paving the way for a the USSSA Pride win. Osterman allowed one earned run, three hits and five walks over seven innings.

Erin Arevalo couldn't get it done in the circle for the Akron Racers, taking a loss. She allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out none.
