Will Kengor drove in the go-ahead run to give the Rockville Express (30-11) the lead in the seventh inning, as the Rockville Express hung on to beat the Bethesda Big Train (25-16) 3-2 on Sunday.
Norm Donkin to start the seventh. He then went from first to third on a single by Ryne Willard. Finally, Kengor came to the plate with the score tied at two, and hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Donkin.The Bethesda Big Train had no answer for Quinn Saunders, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Bethesda Big Train managed just two hits off of the the Rockville Express' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 3 1/3 innings of work.
Cameron Cuneo (1-1) took the loss for the Bethesda Big Train. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out 11, and allowed three runs.
