The Bethesda Big Train drub the D.C. Grays, 11-5

The D.C. Grays (18-21) had a tough outing on Friday, as the Bethesda Big Train (25-16) dominated in an 11-5 win at Shirley Povich Field.

The Bethesda Big Train scored four runs in the sixth on a two-run home run by Cole Norton, a solo home run by Brendan Hendriks, and a triple by Hunter Renfroe.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the second, with five lead changes.

Brennan Middleton racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Bethesda Big Train. He homered in the second inning and singled in the third inning.

Ryan Doran got the win for the Bethesda Big Train thanks to 11 strikeouts. Doran allowed three earned runs on five hits and two walks over six innings.

Danny ODonnell couldn't get it done on the mound for the D.C. Grays, taking a loss. He allowed 10 runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out three.

The Bethesda Big Train easily handled the D.C. Grays pitching as six hitters combined for 14 hits, nine RBIs and 11 runs scored.
