A walk-off single from Norm Donkin brought home the winning run for the Rockville Express (30-11) in an 8-7 victory over the Bethesda Big Train at Shirley Povich Field on Saturday.

Donkin reached base three times in the game for the Rockville Express. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first and ninth innings.

Josh Hampton rocked the Bethesda Big Train (25-16) with two home runs. Hampton went 2-3 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Hampton homered in the third and fourth innings.

Michael Bass racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Bethesda Big Train. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Nick Riley got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed two runs over 1 2/3 innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Robby Kidd couldn't get it done on the mound for the Bethesda Big Train, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
