The D.C. Grays (10-13) were never able to get over the hump and overcome their troubles against the Bethesda Big Train (12-10) on Sunday, as the D.C. Grays fell 6-4 at Hoy Field after falling behind by four runs in the sixth inning.

The D.C. Grays scored on an error and a wild pitch in the sixth inning, an RBI single by Tommy Barksdale in the seventh inning, and a fielder's choice in the ninth inning. Despite their efforts, the D.C. Grays couldn't get over the hump.

Avondre Bollar racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Bethesda Big Train. He tripled in the sixth inning.

Ben Griset struck out eight, paving the way for a the Bethesda Big Train win. Griset allowed one earned run, two hits and three walks over 6 2/3 innings.

Jared Forestieri (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
