The Alexandria Aces (11-11) outlasted the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (8-13) on Sunday after four lead changes, squeaking out a 8-6 win at Blair Stadium.

Chris Sweeney racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Alexandria Aces. He doubled in the third and seventh innings.

Greg Speiss recorded his second win for the Alexandria Aces even though he allowed six runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered 11 hits.

Chris Harrison ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
