The Alexandria Aces (12-11) came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 3-1 ballgame against the D.C. Grays (10-13) on Wednesday at Hoy Field.

While the Alexandria Aces led until the sixth inning, the D.C. Grays worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI double by John Beaubien.

Rob Rizzitelli racked up eight strikeouts in the the D.C. Grays win. Rizzitelli allowed one earned run, 10 hits and two walks over nine innings.

Colin Milon (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out 10, and allowed three runs.
