The Rockville Express (12-4) beat the Bethesda Big Train (6-9) 8-3 on Monday at Montgomery College behind Johnny Cole, who went 2-2.

Quinn Saunders shut down the Bethesda Big Train while he was on the mound. Saunders gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Adam Barry reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first and sixth innings.

Christian Sbiliy got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed three runs over five innings. Sbiliy struck out three, walked three and gave up five hits.

Robby Kidd couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Bethesda Big Train, taking a loss. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
