Glenn allows no runs to lead the Alexandria Aces past the Bethesda Big Train 7-6

Ronnie Glenn kept the Bethesda Big Train (3-9) off the board during his six innings of work and the Alexandria Aces (7-5) beat the Bethesda Big Train, 7-6.

Glenn struck out six and allowed two walks and three hits.

The Alexandria Aces held off the Bethesda Big Train, as the Bethesda Big Train were unable to overcome a seven-run sixth inning deficit.

The Bethesda Big Train scored on a groundout by Mitch Morales and an RBI single by Brendan Hendriks in the seventh inning, in the eighth inning, and a three-run home run by Brennan Middleton in the ninth inning. Despite their efforts, the Bethesda Big Train couldn't get over the hump.

Kevin Francke reached base three times in the game for the Alexandria Aces. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He doubled in the first innings.

Ricky Holden ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out three.
