The Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (5-7) took home a marathon 4-3 victory over the Baltimore Redbirds (7-5) on Thursday at Calvert Hall HS.

With the score tied at three, Chris Bzozowski came to the plate and singled, plating Kurt Wertz Jr.

Wertz Jr. had two extra-base hits for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts. He doubled in the ninth inning and tripled in the fifteenth inning.

Devon Davis allowed no earned runs, five hits and three walks while striking out one over seven innings of work.

Matt Marley improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts. Marley struck out two, walked two and gave up no hits.

Trevor Kelley (0-1) took the loss for the Baltimore Redbirds. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out nine, and allowed one run.
