An awesome effort by J.D. Durbin carried the Lancaster Barnstormers (79-42) to a 5-1 win over the Bridgeport Bluefish on Monday at Clipper Magazine.

Durbin picked up the win for the Lancaster Barnstormers. Durbin pitched nine innings and allowed one earned run, three hits and no walks while striking out five.

Travis Denker racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He singled in the second inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Brad Boyer was solid at the plate for the Bridgeport Bluefish (54-65). Boyer went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning.

Paul Oseguera (10-5) took the loss for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
