Matthew Vasquez threw a shutout to lift the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (54-57) to a 5-0 win over the Camden Riversharks (50-59) at Campbells Field.

The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs' Vasquez kept the Camden Riversharks off the scoreboard for all nine innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on four hits while striking out seven.

Casey Benjamin racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. He singled in the third inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Eddy Camacho (0-3) took the loss for the Camden Riversharks. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
