Owens was solid at the plate for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. Owens went 3-6 and drove in one. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the first and eleventh innings.
Richard Mercado racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. He singled in the second inning and tripled in the third inning.
David Jones pitched seven innings and allowed three earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out three.
