A magnificent effort by J.D. Durbin led the Lancaster Barnstormers (65-36) to a 9-1 win over the Sugar Land Skeeters (45-57) on Tuesday at Constellation Field, Sugar Land.

Durbin picked up the win for the Lancaster Barnstormers. Durbin allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out six over nine innings of work.

The biggest inning for the Lancaster Barnstormers was the seventh. The Sugar Land Skeeters had no answer as the Lancaster Barnstormers scored six runs.

Ryan Harvey helped the Lancaster Barnstormers take the lead for good in the seventh inning. After Fehlandt Lentini doubled, Harvey, scoring Lentini.

Francisco Hernandez had two extra-base hits for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He doubled in the seventh inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Kelvin Villa couldn't get it done on the hill for the Sugar Land Skeeters, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed two runs.

The Lancaster Barnstormers' Hernandez, Blake Gailen and Travis Denker combined for five hits and six RBIs.
