The Bridgeport Bluefish (42-48) beat the Long Island Ducks (45-45) 8-5 on Friday at Bethpage Ballpark behind Luis Rodriguez, who drove in six runs.

He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning.

The Bridgeport Bluefish got the win thanks in large part to Paul Oseguera's dominant, five-strikeout performance. Oseguera allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over five innings.

The Long Island Ducks were led by Brandon Sing's hitting. Sing went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the seventh inning.

The Bridgeport Bluefish couldn't get anything going as long as Chris Hayes was on the mound. Hayes held the Bridgeport Bluefish hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Chris Flinn (0-2) took the loss for the Long Island Ducks. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out one.
