The Lancaster Barnstormers survive the Camden Riversharks 3-2 thanks to Everidge's late-game heroics

Tommy Everidge brought home the go-ahead run to give the Lancaster Barnstormers (55-34) the lead in the sixth inning, as the Lancaster Barnstormers hung on to beat the Camden Riversharks (44-44) 3-2 on Wednesday.

Fehlandt Lentini singled to start the sixth. He then went from first to second on a stolen base. Finally, Everidge came to the plate with the score tied at two, and singled, scoring Lentini.

Lentini was hot from the plate for the Lancaster Barnstormers. Lentini went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.

The Camden Riversharks had no answer for Tim Hamulack, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Hamulack held the Camden Riversharks hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

John Halama got the win, running his season record to 8-6. He allowed two runs over seven innings. Halama struck out five, walked one and gave up nine hits.

Bryan Corey (6-7) took the loss for the Camden Riversharks. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
