Boxscore | Game Recap | Boxscore Text Version | Gamelive Version

Great game from the Camden Riversharks' Walker not enough in 8-5 loss to the Sugar Land Skeeters

Story by Narrative Science.

Chris Walker hit two home runs, but it wasn't enough to carry the Camden Riversharks (41-41) to a win on Thursday, as the Camden Riversharks fell to the Sugar Land Skeeters (37-47) 8-5 at Constellation Field, Sugar Land.

Josh Pressley racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Sugar Land Skeeters. He doubled in the fifth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

The Camden Riversharks had no answer for Pedro Liriano, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Camden Riversharks managed just one hit off of Liriano, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Kevin Reese ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
