Adirondack vs Sherrill: 4-16

The Sherrill offense too much for the Adirondack in 16-4 rout

The Sherrill (6-7) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Adirondack (8-4), recording a 16-4 victory on Wednesday at Noyes Park.

With 11 runs in the first three innings, the Sherrill left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A solo home run by Anthony Ragos, an RBI double by Bryon Campbell, an RBI double by Ernest Ruch III, a two-run single by Nick Flemister, a solo home run by Mitchell Iseneker, and in the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Nick Lynch, an RBI double by Ruch III, and a groundout by Flemister during the second inning fueled the Sherrill's offense early.

Campbell racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Sherrill.

Mike Meleski struck out six, paving the way for a the Sherrill win. Meleski allowed two earned runs, three hits and five walks over seven innings.

Chase Matheson racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Adirondack. He homered in the sixth inning.

Jabin Weaver ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.

The Sherrill pounded the Adirondack pitching, as six hitters combined for 16 hits, 12 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
