The bats were busy at LeMoyne College Field on Tuesday, and when the dust cleared the Sherrill (9-15) had a 12-8 win over the SYR Salt Cats (9-15).

The teams totaled 24 hits in the game.

Byron Campbell racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Sherrill. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and homered in the eighth inning.

Kevin Bailey put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the SYR Salt Cats. He homered in the seventh inning and doubled in the eighth innings.

Nate Eastman recorded his second win of the year for the Sherrill. He allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings. Eastman struck out two, walked three and gave up five hits.

Sean Gavin ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out four.
