The GEN Red Wings come from behind to beat the SYR Salt Cats, 14-11

A loss looked likely for the GEN Red Wings (6-8) when they trailed by four runs in the sixth inning, but the GEN Red Wings were able to capture the lead back with a a home run by Ricky Moses II in the seventh inning, spurring the GEN Red Wings to a 14-11 win over the SYR Salt Cats (5-12) at McDonough Park on Sunday.

With the score tied at six, Moses II came to the plate and hit a grand slam, plating Joe Blair, Beau Hauser and Leon Stimpson.

Moses II racked up four RBIs on four hits for the GEN Red Wings. He doubled in the first inning, singled in the third and fifth innings, and homered in the seventh inning.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 25 total runs and 27 hits during the game. Managers of the two teams seemingly emptied their bullpens in search of the win, as there were 10 pitchers used in the game.

Jon Dunn recorded his second win of the year for the GEN Red Wings. He allowed one run over 3 2/3 innings. Dunn struck out three, walked none and gave up one hit.

Lou Liberatore (0-2) took the loss for the SYR Salt Cats. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
