Mike Muglia kept the SYR Salt Cats (3-11) off the board during his 5 2/3 innings of work and the Adirondack (10-4) beat the SYR Salt Cats, 14-12.

Muglia struck out six and allowed two walks and three hits.

Offense was not hard to come by on on Sunday, as both teams combined for 26 runs and 32 hits, including zero extra base hits. There were 10 pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

Eric Baker pushed the Adirondack ahead, in the seventh inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. With the score tied at 11, Baker came to the plate and doubled, scoring Matthew Robinson.

Baker racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Adirondack. He singled in the fourth inning, homered in the fifth inning, and doubled in the seventh inning.

Sean Larson recorded his second win of the year for the Adirondack. He allowed two runs over two-thirds of an inning. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Roberto Morales (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.

The Adirondack easily handled the SYR Salt Cats pitching as seven hitters combined for 16 hits, 11 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
