The Utica (3-3) outlasted the SYR Salt Cats (1-5) on Sunday after seven lead changes, squeaking out a 4-3 win at LeMoyne College Field.
Eros Modena was solid at the plate for the Utica. Modena went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third and fifth innings.
